September 19, 2019: In partnership with Literati Bookstore and UM Sustainable Food Systems Initiative, the U-M School for Environment and Sustainability presented New York Times bestselling author Jonathan Safran Foer ("Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close"). 

In a conversation facilitated by George Willis Pack Professor Ivette Perfecto, Safran Foer discussed his new book, 

"We are the Weather: Saving the Planet Begins at Breakfast," 
and highlighted small behavioral changes that could help move the needle on climate change.
